Translated: On to the farm
Right now I'm staying at the maker of the photos in Roquebrune in his home in La Turbie, close to Eze-village not far from where I received a warm welcome from a reunion of his group of hikers yesterday. At the reunion I saw very beautiful pictures of France's many regions, and realized with people of literally all ages that I've got my whole life left to cycle and hike and that growing old doesn't have to be so bad.
Yesterday I took off a bit fast, the road was relatively flat and I had my first real cycling path in France, though with a maximum speed of alternately 10 and 20 km per hour. To give my knees a breather, I will work on a farm in Breil in a couple of days, through the organization WWOOF. If that is fun and goes well I'll stay there a few weeks, because the two times I gave my knees a couple days rest seemed to help a lot with the healing process. I never know, it's a strange and time consuming issue, this injury of mine.
And then? Turkey, peut-être. Espagna, peut-être. Tomorrow I'll go hiking, if the weather is nice. Peut-être.
